Speaking at the India MSME Summit on 'Trade Opportunities for MSMEs in New Markets', Minister of State for Commerce and Industry, Shri Jyotiraditya Scindia sought Indian SMEs to concentrate on ASEAN and African countries.

The Government may announce special incentives for the employment-intensive sectors in the Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) to be unveiled in August this year.

"We will ensure that in the FTP, the incentives for exporters will further enhanced," Minister of State for Commerce and Industry Shri Jyotiraditya Scindia said at the India MSME Summit, held in New Delhi on July 28, 2009.
