Greetings from Federation of Indian Micro and Small & Medium Enterprises (FISME)!

All of us in the business community realize the importance of credit information in today’s business operations and at the same time are also aware about the functioning of CIBIL, the Credit Information Bureau of India Limited. A good or bad CIBIL score often makes or breaks our loan application, particularly personal loan applications. In India, Credit Information is not given much importance by the banks for business loans. However, in developed economies, it is an important tool for sourcing credit and also plays an important role in deciding the rate of interest. For that, the credit information bureaus there are compiling a lot of information - even how regular you are in paying your electricity or water bills, mobile bills or trade credits. All this help them to ascertain the level of credit worthiness of the borrower.

To ensure easy flow of credit to MSMEs at a competitive rate; identifying the gaps in the present credit information systems; and to create a wider information base for credit status a meeting is being held from 7.30pm to 9.00pm on Wednesday 24th August 2016 at the Hotel Mirador, Andheri (East), Mumbai. The meeting would be followed by dinner.

We are pleased to extend you a cordial invitation for this important meeting to be Chaired by the World Bank. (Kindly note, no charges are applicable but we request you to kindly confirm your presence in advance).

We eagerly look forward to receiving your confirmation which would be acknowledged by us.

Thanks and with kind regards
