Vice President, FISME and MD & CEO, IOB inaugurate IOB branch for MSMEs

Indian Overseas Bank opened its fully dedicated branch for the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) with the view to boost financial inclusion in the sector.The branch was jointly inaugurated by Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the IOB R. Koteeswaran and Federation of Indian Micro and Small & Medium Enterprises (FISME) Vice President CS Goel in the Model Town area of the national capital. The CEO of IOB said, “To see the MSME sector progress well, we decided to open an MSME branch in Delhi. Mr. Goel appreciated the vision of the IOB management for taking an optimistic approach towards the MSME sector and opening this exclusive branch, at this juncture. He said that it could not be better timed, when the MSME sector is knocking at every door for a favourable business environment. He further added that this MSME focused branch will surely go a long way in solving the credit related issues of MSME customers.
