SUMMARY:Four-Day GI Mahotsav in Patna
DESCRIPTION:FISME, with support from the Ministry of MSME, organized the GI Mahotsav 2025 in Patna from 27–30 November.\nThe event was inaugurated by FISME Director R.P. Singh and BIA President Ram Lal Khetan, in the presence of Santosh Sahu, Assistant Director, Ministry of MSME.\nThe four-day festival provided a platform for artisans and producers to showcase over 100 Geographical Indication (GI) products from 20 states, including Kullu shawls, Maheshwari and Chandeshwari sarees, Odisha brassware, Madhubani paintings, Sikki art, Malabar black pepper, Makhana and Ropuram cow ghee.\nThe programe highlighted handicrafts, textiles, agricultural goods, and traditional art forms, aiming to promote GI products, raise public awareness, and explore opportunities to expand their market reach.\n
